How the gathering unfolds
Each cohort runs for twelve weeks. Below is the arc — though every circle finds its own rhythm, its own pace, its own particular kind of quiet.
Arrival
We begin with the body and with breath. The group forms slowly. Women arrive, introduce themselves to themselves as much as to each other, and we establish the container — what can be held here, and how.
The Weight
We name what has been heavy. In the presence of other women, the naming is less isolating. Something loosens. We are not alone in any of this — and that knowledge, all on its own, changes things.
The Roots
Underneath the weight: stillness, instinct, the part of each woman that has always known. We practice finding it in ourselves — and recognizing it in each other. A particular kind of mirroring begins.
Rooted
We close the container — not the work. Women leave Raízes with a foundation, and with each other. Many of these circles continue long after the twelve weeks are done.
